This is a holistic approach covering the basics of why we have the mechanical codes and systems and how they work to provide comfort and the safety factors that we need to focus on. From the importance of sizing the fuel gas supply and exhaust to also the delivery system we know as ducting. We will look at a traditional furnace/air handler for purposes of this discussion. This class will include a hands on experience with a sample air handler and ducting and the effects of static pressure and air volumes. Come prepared to participate.
